Does this method brick your Archos? Is there a back track method to full Archosy usage?

No it does not have the possibility to brick your archos.

You can simply reboot and all the visible changes are gone.

hello @ all Now there´s a new version out and when you once put this version(2.1.04) on the archos you can´t put an older version on it, but with this version it doesn´t work. Can you tell me how I could it make with this version pleas?

HELLO EVERYONE,

i bought an archos 5g yesterday. With the 3G modem inside one can use it also like a phone. As archos was designed with a base of linux, can someone help me if there would be a possibiliy to modify the base and let the phone applications to run. I am new to hacking a gadget so am sorry if i spoke something wrong.
